As a musician who plays in a couple of local bands, my weekends get filled up pretty quickly with commitments for gigs. If I don’t block out time well ahead of the warmer weather, I could be left with only a weekend or two all summer long that allow me to get away.
In the past I’ve tried paper calendars, online calendars and big print desk calendars and still I always feel like I can’t stay ahead of my bands’ gig schedules to carve out as many summer trips as I would like.
This year I’m trying something new and made this tool for myself to visualize all of the upcoming weekends.
I know that I’m not alone in having most of my warm-weather weekends booked up before I have a chance to plan all the trips I’d like to take so thought it could be useful to share.
So, here’s your 2017 planner. Even if you don’t know where you want to go yet, put a couple of X’s on the sheet and commit to doing something cool — camping, bikepacking, family road trip — you name it.
Drop us a note and let us know what you’ve got planned!
